The Card Capital of Collingswood Partners with Blue Jays Outfielder and Haddonfield Native Joey Loperfido for Inaugural Cards for a Cause Toy Drive

South Jersey’s Premier Trading Card and Memorabilia Store to Bring Joy to Disadvantaged Youth this Holiday Season with MLB Outfielder

COLLINGSWOOD, NJ (DECEMBER 12, 2024) –  The Card Capital - Collingswood’s newest sports card and memorabilia store - is bringing sports fans together to bring cheer to local youth this holiday season. South Jersey’s premier card shop’s charitable efforts series Cards for a Cause is encouraging fans to donate unwrapped toys in a very unique way. 

Between now and December 20, 2024, any fan that donates a new, unwrapped toy at The Card Capital will receive a very special ticket that grants access to an exclusive in-store event on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at 5pm. At this intimate event, fans will exchange tickets for an eligible pack of cards and will be able to participate in a pack battle with Toronto Blue Jays Left Outfielder and South Jersey Native Joey Loperfido. Winner(s) of these battles will receive signed, game-used memorabilia from Loperfido. Loperfido is a graduate of Haddonfield Memorial High School who played for Duke University before being drafted by the Houston Astros in 2021. The Haddonfield baseball star moved onto his current team the Toronto Blue Jays in June 2024.

All toys will be donated to the several local churches and charitable organizations in the Collingswood and Haddonfield areas after the collection deadline of December 20, 2024.
